About Us

Pacific Pines Panthers is a junior basketball club, founded in 1993. We are a non-profit, local community basketball organisation based in Pacific Pines on the Gold Coast and participate in the Gold Coast Junior Basketball competition. We cater for all ability levels and enter teams into all age groups from Under 10 through to Under 21, and are a club run 100% by volunteers. Our coaches consist mainly of parents, and we utilise local school halls for training facilities.

Games are played across numerous venues depending on the season draw which is determined by Gold Coast Basketball.

Panthers Basketball operates under the banner of Gold Coast Basketball Association.
Gold Coast club competitions run in line with school terms (excluding school holidays) with the year broken into 2 Playing Seasons.

Winter Season: School Terms 1,2 & 3
Summer Season: School Term 4

U10 Girls & Boys – Games played on Saturday mornings
U12 Girls & Boys – Games played on Saturday mornings
U14 Girls & Boys – Games played on Friday evenings
U16 Girls & Boys – Games played on Friday evenings
U18 Boys – Games played on Wednesday evenings
Open Girls (U21 Girls) – Games played on Wednesday evenings
